Doug and Elme know Cuba and know what photographers are looking for, and provide a trip that will let you experience Cuba and its people and learn/enhance your street photography ability. Old Havana, as well as other places we visited is "eye candy" for photographers. Add to this that the price is very good for the value, and the amenities were well above average. (Steve Z.)
This trip far exceeded my expectations. Doug and Elme's planning, guidance, and attention to detail were better than any trip I can recall. I enjoyed the trip so much that I didn't want to leave Cuba. I hope to be able to go on their next trip to Cuba. Phenomenal trip with a fantastic group!! Cuba is an amazing country with friendly, fascinating people. I was lucky to be able to join Doug’s workshop. It was the perfect experience. Doug and trip coordinator, Elme divided us into small groups. Each group had a Cuban photographer/guide available that, not only provided us with great photo opportunities, but invaluable insight into the Cuban culture. The food was great, photo opportunities fantastic and the camaraderie invaluable. Many thanks to Doug and Elme for putting this trip together. The trip was fabulous. Our small group of travelers was cohesive and interesting. Our guides were experienced, conscientious, and talented. The accommodations were more than I expected; the food amazing, the Cuban people friendly and hospitable. What more can I say; only that it wasn't long enough. My interest in the current politic, the history, the Cubans and their beautiful environmental landscape has been heightened. I want to return soon. (Gerrie Y.)
Doug and Elme went the extra mile to make our trip great. They knew exactly where and when to take us for the best photo opportunities. Our lodging was excellent. We ate in the best restaurants. I have gone on may trips where everything was supposed to be included and there is always some extra cost. This trip had truly had no extra cost. I would not hesitate going on another trip with them.
